SOUTHERN FRANCE
July 19th
A photographer takes a photo, during a town festival, of a master criminal (Lomax) who was thought to be dead. A local former crook is sold the photo, and he sends two thugs round to take care of him. As they are about to kill him, he dies of a heart attack. While Lomax's body is in the morgue, the two thugs turn up, knock-out the attendant, and shoot the corpse of Lomax.
